Kike Kotsianas, LCSW

There are tough times for everyone — that goes without saying. But combine the stress and uncertainty of life with the challenges of being a preteen, teen, or young adult and it’s no surprise that many are struggling with anxiety, depression, and other mental health-related issues. I would like to help you navigate these challenges and work with you to gain the tools necessary to overcome them. I am passionate about using my knowledge, experience, and resources to help you find joy in your life!

My Specialty

I specialize in and am passionate about working with teens, adolescents, and their parents but also love working with young adults. I work with people struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, and life transitions.

My Approach

I use a client-centered approach to treatment because I strongly believe you are the expert on you. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR ) and also pull from several different treatment approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Strengths-Based Perspective, Attachment-Based Perspective, Person-Centered Approach, and Trauma-Informed Approach.

Services and Fees

I work with individuals 16 years of age and older. I provide a free 15-minute telephone consultation to discuss what brings you to counseling and for us to see if we would be a good fit. I currently accept the following insurance plans:

All co-pay/co-insurance payments are due at the time of service and payable by credit/debit card. In addition to insurance I also accept private pay clients. My fee is $120 for the initial 60-minute intake appointment, and $100 for subsequent 50-minute sessions. I am able to offer reduced fees on a limited basis, dependent upon client need and my availability. If you believe you need reduced fees in order to participate in therapy, please discuss this with me prior to scheduling your first session.
